Ocean City Influencers is a programme for young people which explores ocean activism and climate justice through digital creativity. We use film, photography, artworks, and animation to share our perspectives and learning about the environment.

Our hometown is Plymouth, which is known as Britain’s Ocean City. With the sea on our doorstep, it is a big part of our lives, and we must understand, respect and protect it.
We meet regularly at the East End Community Centre in Plymouth, where we collaborate with artists and people working in the environment on various projects.
We get out and about to take part in activities, sessions and workshops – exploring how we can take action to improve the environment and find out more about the blue spaces on our doorstep. We’ve also collaborated with artists internationally, expanding our understanding of the global impact humans are having on our planet.

We are ambitious about continuing to grow as leaders and advocating for youth voices to promote climate justice and environmental responsibility.
